Just a mild squeeze between 3 big rocks and you were in and walking downhill into a small main chamber. There it broke left and right into 2 branches to explore. The left branch headed NE and decending mildly and quickly turned into a 3 foot high rectangular passageway gradually moving downward and then collapsing down to 2 foot high and into a underground stream/lake ...we stopped there.
The right branch was rather interesting, you had to descend into a narrow crack between 2 slabs and it was not for the faint of heart. Then once thru the crevice you were in another small chamber that led to a square 3 foot passage. It descended slightly and turned south toward main street. You could explore about 30 more feet before it submerged underwater. We stopped there but spent many hours exploring for other passages, but none were workable the dynamite had done its job.
Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8136722814831402872.post-60318684567360891712018-07-17T11:11:10.408-04:002018-07-17T11:11:10.408-04:00Yes, I too spent a lot of time exploring the area ...Yes, I too spent a lot of time exploring the area as a child.
