Chandelier

I think I could take a better picture than this, even with my mere point and shoot, as long as the chandelier wasn't lit anyway. That throws my auto everything way off. Practice makes perfect, right?

I took over 80 pictures the other day and it's taking me a while to look through them all and go "eh..."

I give you plenty of credit... chandeliers are hard to capture!
Flash, no flash, night time, reflections off the baubles...

Say, have you shot Lafayette Hotel? I heard it's beautiful inside, however, seeing what I've seen from my building, um, I don't think I'd go it alone... spooky.

I admit I've allowed the "doormen" to intimidate me in the past. No more! However,is there still any reason to go in there except as a tenant? Yech.

rumor has it that Rocco (metinks) purchased the building and is planning on making it into offices/apartments while preserving the facade.

I'd probably be less intimidated with my P&S as opposed to the heavy-duty hardware... though maybe on a weekend when the "doormen" are out and about.
